Privacy policy
What data I process and why
- Inquiries and communication. When you contact me through the contact form, by e-mail or by phone, I process the data you give me (name, e-mail, phone, message content) in order to reply and prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in handling your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I keep the data while the inquiry is being handled and for no longer than 1 year after our last communication. If we enter into a contract, I keep it for the duration of the contract and for the period required by law (for example accounting and tax rules).
- Traffic measurement (Google Analytics 4). Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) I use cookies to measure how the site is used: pages visited, traffic source, approximate location, device type, and whether you clicked the phone number or e-mail address, copied them or submitted the form. This data is not linked to your name or contact details. Google Analytics keeps user-level data for no longer than 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings.
- Anonymous statistics (Ahrefs Web Analytics). Aggregated traffic statistics without cookies and without storing IP addresses or other personal data. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a basic overview of site traffic (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Spam protection for the form (Google reCAPTCHA). On the Contact page, reCAPTCHA assesses whether the form is being submitted by a human. In doing so, Google processes your IP address, device and browser data and behaviour on the page. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Running the website. When a page is loaded, the hosting provider technically processes your IP address and browser data in its operational logs. This is necessary to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who receives the data
I do not sell your data. It is processed on my behalf only by these service providers:
- Microsoft (website hosting on Microsoft Azure, e-mail),
- Google (Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA, e-mail),
- Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (Ahrefs Web Analytics).
Some of them may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. Such transfers rely on an adequacy decision (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to the e-mail address above. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
Providing your data is voluntary, but without contact details I cannot reply to your inquiry. If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7 (uoou.gov.cz).
